The objective of the game is to guess the right code (4, 5 or 6 pegs) in the right order. The codes are randomly generated by computer and duplicates are allowed. For each guess, computer will feedback by placing key pegs in the small holes of the row with the guess. A black key peg is placed for each code peg from the guess which is correct in both color and position. A white key peg indicates the existence of a correct color code peg placed in the wrong position.

الهدف من اللعبة هو لتخمين رمز الحق (4 أو 5 أو 6 أوتاد) في حق النظام. يتم إنشاء رموز عشوائيا عن طريق الكمبيوتر ويسمح التكرارات. لكل تخمين، الكمبيوتر الإرادة ردود الفعل من خلال وضع أوتاد الرئيسية في ثقوب صغيرة من الصف مع تخمين. يتم وضع ربط مفتاح ربط سوداء لكل رمز من تخمين الذي هو الصحيح في كل موقف ولون. وربط المفتاح الأبيض يشير إلى وجود الصحيح ربط رمز اللون وضعت في موقف خاطئ.
